Broadcast Team Ready to Fly

As the global stars of rugby prepare to arrive in South Africa ahead of the 2023 Rugby Tens Championship, we are pleased to welcome a stellar line-up to complete our broadcast team.

Continuing as our main presenter, Jenny Drummond will be joining us fresh from covering URC matches with Viaplay and Premiership Rugby with TNT Sports in the UK. We are also thrilled to add Cato Louw to the team – sports anchor on radio and television, most recently pitchside covering the women’s WXV2 in South Africa.

Providing analysis will be Rugby World Cup winning flyer Kat Merchant who returns for her third Rugby Tens Championship. Kat will be joined by Tom Mitchell and Layla Arrison in the co-commentator’s seat.

Tom is a former England 7s captain and Olympian, most recently working in co-commentary at France 2023, while Layla is a former Springbok 7s star and Bulls player who is becoming an ever more established broadcast voice, working with SuperSport. We’re excited to bring their passion and insight to our coverage.

Lead commentary will be provided by Nick Heath, a familiar voice on men’s and women’s rugby across the world, who returns to the Rugby Tens microphone. Our host of Tens Talk and a regular on the World Rugby World 7s Series circuit, Dallen Stanford will complete the line-up.

The production coverage will be directed and produced by the hugely experienced pair of Rhys Edwards and Jeremy Mann.
To watch the 2023 Rugby Tens Championship, you will be able to tune in via (worldwide) and The Rugby Network (USA).
