Introducing the Canadian Rugby union player, and current Toronto Arrows Member of the Major League Rugby (MLR) and Canadian National Squad Team member, Oliver Nott.
This diverse 7’s, 10’s and 15’s player was part of the Leicester Tiger elite player development group before emigrating to Vancouver from Barton UK back in 2011. Showcasing great leadership capabilities amongst his school peers, led to Nott captaining his high school rugby team at Shawnigan High School. Nott is also a graduate of the British Columbia Bears senior men’s provincial program and Rugby Canada’s national development program. He also played his grassroots rugby with the University of Victoria Vikes in the British Columbia Premiership. Nott was also awarded among 5 others as Victoria Vikes Men’s Sevens All-stars after a fourth-consecutive University Sevens Rugby Championship win.
He went on to play for the Canada U20s at the World Rugby Trophy competition in Portugal in 2015. In 2017 he started two matches for the Canadian National Team making his debut against Chile at Langford and the Americas Rugby Championship. Nott has also represented Canada in the Pacific Pride program and was named in the Canada squad for the 2017 Americas Rugby Championship.
Nott is no newcomer to 10’s rugby as he was part of the Rhinos squad at the World’s Tens Series last year in Bermuda. We are thrilled to welcome former 10s player, Oliver Nott to the R10C launch next month in Lisbon, Portugal.
