Introducing, Nicole Strasko a female rugby player born and raised in the midwest state of Iowa.
It was at Life University that she found an unexpected love for rugby. Throughout her 3 years at Life University, she was the first-ever woman to be named a Collegiate All-American and first ever to play for the USA national team.
She trained full-time with the USA Olympic team in Chula Vista, CA. After debuting in Dubai, and making appearances in Okinawa, Las Vegas, and Van Couver as she continued playing rugby.
In midst of her USA rugby training, she has realized what little money is available for the female rugby players and helped found a non-profit 501c3 charity called Women For Rugby to aid in equal opportunity for women in rugby from the Olympic level down to youth programs. She currently is in the USA national pool selection for a hopeful part of the World Cup team in 2022! And most recently she made HERstory with Premier Rugby Sevens in Memphis, TN being the first-ever professional women’s tournament in North America!
