Kainoa Lloyd

Kainoa Lloyd is a Canadian Rugby Union player who plays as a winger for the Toronto Arrows in MLR, the Ontario Blues in the Canadian Rugby Championship, and represented Canada internationally at the 2019 Rugby World Cup series.

Switching from soccer, Lloyd showed immense rugby talent as only after his first year of playing rugby, made his age-grade provincial team and every year thereafter, winning a national title in U16, and winning 4 straight High School regional championships and two High School provincials championships.

In 2013, Lloyd attended Queen’s University in Kingston, Ontario where he started for the varsity team where he was awarded the male varsity athlete of the year! Lloyd was selected to play for the Ontario Blues senior men’s team in the Canadian Rugby Championship, where he was the leading try scorer for the team.

In 2017, he made his international test debut vs Uruguay. Since then, Lloyd has gone on to earn 17 test caps. He has also represented Canada numerous other times in non-capped matches, Canada A tours, and international development 7’s tournaments.
