Jacob Ojee

Jacob Ojee is a 7’s and 15’s rugby union player for Kenya and has currently been the Kenyan National rugby 7’s Captain since 2019.Ojee is a dream chaser, he says “setbacks are always there but it depends on how you pick yourself up.”

He has been a member of the national rugby sevens team since 2014 as well as appearing in test games for the Kenyan national union rugby team in 2015.
With the nickname ‘On” this man does not wait for opportunities to come to him, he creates his own opportunities. Not only is he a professional rugby player, he is also a member of the Commercial bank RFC in Kenya as he is a finance major from USIU. Ojee believes education is a key part in the general development of a person, he says it’s an empowerment tool.

Ojee leads by example, extremely hardworking, always giving 110% no matter on or off the rugby field. As R10C is all about developing the youth, exposing them to older players to help them learn from experienced and professional men and women, Ojee is a perfect example, honoured to have him on our team.
