Douglas Fraser

Canadian Player, Douglas Fraser, after representing Canada in 2018 signed with the Austin Elite of the MLR for the 2019 season and then went on to sign with Old Glory DC in the MLR and has been at the club since the 2020 season.

Fraser attended the University of Victoria from 2010 to 2015 where his rugby team won two national championships and was named the Canadian University 7’s Dream team in 2015. Fraser, being part of that dream team,was awarded the Canadian University 7’s Finals MVP.

After graduating, he went on to play with Castaway Wanderers, a Canadian rugby club based in Oak Bay, British Columbia, and BC Bears, a men’s select side team that represents British Columbia. While with the Bears he was invited to join the national Canadian XVs team. Finally, he made his international debut against Brazil during the Americas Rugby Championship in 2018 and since then won four more caps.
